Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TruBible ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TruBible provides real-time voice translation services. A host speaks into their microphone, and listeners hear AI-powered translations, as audio and/or on-screen text, in their chosen language. The Service also includes team management, event scheduling, guest engagement tools, optional sermon recording and transcripts, and related features. The Service is offered on a free plan and an optional paid plan, as described in Section 5.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Teams and Roles

Team owners are responsible for their team's usage, billing, and the content broadcast through their team. Team owners and admins can invite members and manage events. The team owner is the billing contact for the team's plan, subscription, and prepaid balance.

5. Billing and Payments

• Free plan. Every team receives 30 hours of translation per month at no charge. Unused hours do not roll over. The monthly allowance resets on the 1st of each month.
• How usage is measured. Translation time is measured per second for each language that is actively being translated during a live session. For example, one hour translated into two languages uses two hours.
• When the free allowance runs out. On the Free plan, live translation stops when the monthly allowance is used up and resumes when it resets. There are no overage charges on the Free plan.
• Good News plan. Teams may choose the optional Good News plan, a recurring monthly contribution of at least $1 USD that the team chooses at checkout. It includes the same monthly allowance plus premium features (such as AI voice cloning, priority server capacity, advanced analytics, and dedicated support) and allows translation to continue after the allowance is used, as pay-as-you-go usage deducted from the team's prepaid balance at the hourly rates shown on our pricing page, which may vary by voice provider.
• Prepaid balance. Teams can add funds to a prepaid balance through Stripe. The balance is used for pay-as-you-go translation on the Good News plan and for paid add-ons such as SMS messages. Live translation stops when both the monthly allowance and the balance are exhausted.
• Subscriptions and cancellation. Good News contributions renew monthly until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; the team returns to the Free plan when the subscription ends.
• Price changes. We may change plans, allowances, and rates. We will post changes on our pricing page and notify team owners of material changes in advance.
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe. TruBible does not store payment card information.
• Payments, contributions, and prepaid balances are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Broadcast content that is hateful, threatening, or promotes violence.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit malware or harmful content.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
• Exceed fair usage limits or abuse the translation API.
• Create an AI voice clone of anyone's voice without that person's explicit permission, or use a voice clone to impersonate or mislead.
• Collect guest information without telling guests how it will be used, or send them messages they have not agreed to receive.

7. Translation Accuracy

TruBible uses AI-powered translation which may not be 100% accurate. Translations are provided "as-is" and should not be relied upon for critical, legal, or medical communications. TruBible is not responsible for errors, omissions, or misinterpretations in translations.

8. Intellectual Property

The TruBible platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by TruBible. You retain ownership of any content you broadcast or upload through the Service, including recordings, transcripts, and voice samples. By using the Service, you grant TruBible a limited license to process, store, and transmit that content solely to provide the Service to you, including translation, and, where you enable them, recording, transcripts, podcast and video publishing, and voice cloning. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the content you broadcast.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TruBible shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to TruBible in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any disruption to live events caused by service outages.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and any active Good News subscription is cancelled.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes.
